What you want to know - FAQ
How soon is too soon to book wedding day services?
It is highly recommended to book as soon as possible. Some brides are booking us 18 months in advance!
Do you travel to me on the wedding day?
YES! We are happy to provide onsite services to make your big day as easy as possible! All you have to do is wake up and enjoy the day. A travel fee may be incurred depending on distance from our home base.
Are you able to accommodate all skin tones and hair types?
Yes, all our artists are trained and ready to work with any skin tone and hair type. We love diversity!
How many people are you able to accommodate for a wedding party?
We have a large team and are able to accommodate a party of any size. The more the merrier!
Why should I have a trial?
Its always nice to meet with your artist and get a chance to see how you hair and makeup will look for the big day. Doing this will ensure you are 1000% happy with the final outcome and will have no worries when its time to sit in the chair.
How do I reserve my date?
To start the booking process inquire with Sam via the website or email at sam@samrosebeauty.com. From there we can discuss full wedding details and a full quote will be prepared. Once that is in place we require a signed contract and deposit. Please be aware the date is not reserved until the contract and retainer are received.
Is there a minimum required to book onsite services?
There is a minimum of 5 services per stylist to secure a date. If you have a larger party and need additional stylist there will be a $150 fee per stylist and each one will need to meet the 5 service minimum. Artists will need to be secured as soon as possible as there is no guarantee there will be availability as the date approaches.
When should I book a trial?
Trials should be booked a minimum of 3 months before the wedding date. Weekend availability becomes difficult during bridal season so we always suggest weekend appointments be done January to March.
How do you accept payments?
We accept Venmo and Credit Card payments. Cash payments are accepted as well and can be arranged of course.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included in the bridal rates. It is never expected but it is appreciated. Tips can be paid directly to artists by cash or Venmo on the date of service!
How should I prepare for my trial and wedding day hair and makeup?
Always come to your appointment with a clean face and clean hair. That will ensure the artists have a nice clean slate to work with. Any inspiration photos or photos of the dress/ venue and vibe are appreciated but we can also help and suggest a look we think would work best for each individual client.
